NECA Farewells CEO Oliver Judd

After a tenure of 17 successful years, National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) CEO, Oliver Judd has decided to call time on his career at NECA.

Oliver began his employment with NECA as an Industrial Relations Lawyer in a team where he achieved several successes in situations where others saw insurmountable odds.

It wasn’t long before Oliver’s talents and his never-say-die attitude caught the attention of the NECA Board, and he was encouraged to apply for the role of CEO.

As one of the most recognisable faces within the electrotechnology industry, Oliver introduced many new initiatives and helped grow NECA to what it is today. His legacy is a solid industry association with strong support systems which have helped to grow and shape the electrical and communications industries within Australia.

“I’d like to thank each and every individual that I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with during my time at NECA. To be able to work so closely with so many passionate people, help strengthen our industry and create a platform that’s helped to launch so many careers has been an absolute pleasure.

“As I move into the next chapter of my life, I will always be indebted to those that have supported my career, mentored me, and offered their ongoing support. There are so many people I would like to thank.

“When the time finally comes to reflect on my career overall, I already know that it will be hard to top my time at NECA”, said Mr Judd.

NECA would also like to announce the appointment of Mr Son Trinh to the role of Interim CEO.

Mr Trinh has been an employee of NECA for the past eight years, and has spent the last five in the role of Chief Financial Officer.

NECA’s thanks Mr Judd for his contribution to the industry, and for the work he has done in progressing the association, and we welcome Mr Trinh to the role of interim CEO.
