Nominations are now open for the 2026 NECA WA Awards! The NECA Awards present the opportunity to showcase your business, an apprentice or individual which has brought about positive change to our industry.
These Awards recognise outstanding achievement across the industry nationally. Entering the awards program provides an opportunity for your company to be acknowledged for outstanding commitment to excellence and professionalism.
The NECA Awards are open to all NECA members and their apprentices. The NECA Awards celebrate achievements across the entire industry through three dedicated awards programs:
- NECA Apprentice Awards
- NECA Small Business Awards
- NECA Excellence Awards
These submissions are judged at a state level, with each state hosting a gala event between July and September. State winners then progress to the National Awards.
Submissions close dates
- Awards Submissions close Friday 1 May 2026.
- Apprentice Submissions close Thursday 2 April 2026.

Excellence Awards
Recognises outstanding achievement across the industry.

Apprentice Awards
Recognises the essential role apprentices play in the future of our industry.
Categories include:
- 1st/2nd/3rd Year - Apprentice of the Year (WA only)
- 4th Year Commercial/Domestic Apprentice of the Year
- 4th Year Industrial Apprentice of the Year
- 4th Year ELV/Communications Apprentice of the Year

Awards Ceremony: Bankwest Club River View Room from 7.00pm - 11:00pm
