NECA is the only industry association dedicated to representing the interests of contractors whose principal business is the selling, installing, servicing and repair of electrical and communications products.

With a membership of more than 500, NECA South Australia is the driving force in the electrotechnology industry and a major factor in the continued success and security of electrical and communications contractors.

NECA actively represents contractors' interests in dealings with federal, state and local governments and other regulatory authorities and ensures members are fully informed on important issues and developments in the sector.

As a not-for-profit organisation NECA South Australia is devoted solely to the electrical and communications industries and is the best source of information, representation, professional knowledge and commercial services to those sectors.

Membership is fully tax deductible and provides members with access to a wide range of commercial and non-commercial member services, and to a team of people dedicated to supporting members.

FREE copies of the 2009 ETSA Service & Installation Rules  

NECA SA is having a spring clean of the office and we have copies of the 2009 ETSA Utilities Service and Installation Rules (July edition) to give away to NECA SA members free of charge.

Simply call into the NECA SA office located at 213 Greenhill Road, Eastwood to collect your copy. Alternatively, if you need them posted out you will need to pay for the cost of postage. ETSA Utilities Connection Checklist  

ETSA Utilities recently issued an Electrical Industry Bulletin, which includes the latest changes to the Connection Checklist that the customer connections officers use to check for compliance prior to connecting an installation to the ETSA distribution network.

The checklist outlines the various items that the customer connections officers require before they can connect the installation to the ETSA Utilities distribution network. Please note that the Office of the Technical Regulator has also included some mandatory items on the checklist.

The updated connection checklist is effective from the 1 September 2009 and is downloadable below.
