NECA has representatives on all technical standards and licensing bodies throughout Australia. This gives NECA the knowledge and resources to help its members:

• Obtain comprehensive technical advice
• Have direct input into the setting of Australian Standards such as the Wiring Rules
• Access the latest technical reference material, including a catalogue of Australian Standards, rulings, government regulations and specialist trade publications
• Obtain professional advice on licensing provisions for electrical workers, contractors and other industry licences such as cabling licences.
